72° Eyepieces

The Explore Scientific 72° ED Series sits between the 68° and 82° lines: a wider field than a standard Plössl, in a body that stays manageable at the focuser. Every element uses HOYA FCD1 extra-low dispersion glass to hold down chromatic aberration, and each barrel is sealed and waterproof.

Eight focal lengths run 6.5mm to 40mm. The 6.5, 8.5, 11.5, 15 and 20mm fit any telescope accepting 1.25" eyepieces; the 25, 30 and 40mm are 2" barrels for low-power, wide-field work.
