Common questions

Can I use Luna optics in daylight? Yes. Digital sensors give you a full-color conventional view by day with up to 36x zoom, with no risk of the tube damage that sunlight causes traditional night vision.

Do I need an IR illuminator? Built-in infrared covers close to mid range. In total darkness, or to push past a few hundred yards, add the ELIR-3 illuminator. Twilight and moonlight extend range on their own.

How is digital different from traditional Gen-3 night vision? Digital is daylight-safe, records photo and video, streams to your phone, and costs far less. Tube Gen-3 only pulls ahead at extreme range in near-total darkness.
