Filters

A filter passes the light you want and blocks the rest. Narrowband nebula filters isolate the glow of emission nebulae, light-pollution filters cut skyglow, and polarizing and neutral density filters tame the Moon's glare. For the Sun, use only a solar filter that covers the front of the telescope.

Every filter here is Explore Scientific: a broadband CLS, narrowband H-Alpha, H-Beta, Oxygen III and S-II filters as tight as 6.5nm, mostly in 1.25-inch and 2-inch sizes, plus the Sun Catcher solar filter.
