Explore Scientific

Explore Scientific was founded in 2008 by optics veteran Scott Roberts and designs telescopes, eyepieces and mounts from Springdale, Arkansas, for first nights out through serious astrophotography.

We carry FirstLight and Sidara telescope kits, AR doublet and ED APO triplet refractors, solid and truss-tube Dobsonians, argon-purged eyepieces from 52° to 120°, PMC-Eight GoTo mounts and binoculars up to the 150mm BT giants.

Comparing models? See our head-to-heads of the AR102 and ED102 refractors, the iEXOS-100 and EXOS2-GT mounts and the BT giant binoculars.
