Explore Scientific 82° Series 2" 18mm Waterproof Eyepiece

The 82° Series 18mm is the entry point to the 2" barrel 82° eyepieces, delivering genuinely wide, bright views of deep-sky objects. The step from 1.25" to 2" opens up noticeably wider true fields of view. It has argon-purged waterproof construction.

Key Features

• 2" barrel
• 82° apparent field of view — immersive, ultra-wide framing for deep-sky objects and rich star fields
• 7-element optics of low-dispersion, high-index glass: sharp, well-corrected images across the full wide field
• Argon-purged waterproof housing — sealed against moisture, fog, and humidity for all-weather reliability
• Enhanced Multi-Layer Deposition (EMD) coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces with edge-blackened elements
• Fold-down silicone rubber eyecup for comfortable extended viewing
