Explore FirstLight 80mm f/8 Refractor Telescope with Sidara Nano Alt-Az Mount

Picture a clear evening with the Moon up and half an hour to spare. The Explore FirstLight 80mm f/8 Refractor and Sidara Nano package is made for nights like that: an 80mm doublet refractor on a manual alt-azimuth mount with slow-motion controls, with no electronics, power or complicated alignment to set up.

The objective is a fully coated crown-and-flint doublet with a 640mm focal length. Explore Scientific lists lunar craters, Saturn's rings, Jupiter's cloud belts and bright deep-sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters among its targets, and the included 25mm Plössl gives 25.6x.

• Smartphone adapter to capture and share what you see
• Sidara Nano alt-az mount with slow-motion controls for smooth, precise centering, and no electronics or power required
• Lightweight tripod in a compact package made for grab-and-go astronomy

Ideal For

First-time observers who want a complete, ready-to-observe telescope with nothing to configure. Beginners and families looking for quick sessions on the Moon and planets from the backyard. Travelers and campers who want a refractor and tripod that carry easily to a campsite or a dark-sky site.

Accessories & Compatibility

The package includes one eyepiece, a 25mm Plössl (25.6x), and a 1.25" 90° diagonal; add standard 1.25" eyepieces when you want more magnification. Downloadable planetarium software is included.
