The subcompact carry pistol market has standardized on the RMSc footprint, and the Athlon Midas EDC was designed specifically for it. At 0.65 oz and 1.61 inches, it's one of the lightest and most compact micro red dots available — built to disappear on a Sig P365, Springfield Hellcat, Glock 43 MOS, or any pistol with an RMSc-pattern optic cut. The included Glock MOS mounting plate and shim get you mounted without hunting for aftermarket adapters.
The 3 MOA dot projects through a fully multi-coated 20x16mm window with 50,000 hours of battery life from a CR2032 cell — over five years of constant-on runtime at medium brightness. The motion sensor sleeps the EDC after 5 minutes of inactivity and wakes it the instant the gun moves. Ten brightness settings handle any lighting condition from indoor ranges to direct sun.
Athlon built the EDC on a one-piece, aircraft-grade aluminum chassis that's nitrogen purged, waterproof, fog-proof, and shockproof. Windage and elevation are adjusted via continuous-rotation screws (55 MOA per revolution) with 80 MOA of total travel in each axis.

Ideal For
Everyday carry on subcompact pistols — the RMSc footprint fits the Sig P365, Springfield Hellcat, Glock 43 MOS, S&W Shield Plus, and other popular carry platforms. At 0.65 oz, it adds virtually no weight to the slide.
Budget-conscious shooters entering pistol red dots who want Athlon's lifetime warranty, 50,000-hour battery life, and motion-wake at the most accessible price point in the Midas red dot lineup.
Glock MOS owners who want a plug-and-play solution — the included mounting plate and shim eliminate the need for aftermarket adapter plates.
EDC vs EDC Pro
The Midas EDC Pro upgrades to a top-loading CR1632 battery that swaps without removing the optic — preserving your zero through battery changes. The standard EDC uses a bottom-loading CR2032 that requires unmounting for battery swaps but delivers 50,000 hours of battery life (vs 20,000 on the Pro) thanks to the larger cell. Choose the EDC for maximum battery life, or the EDC Pro for zero retention.
