A scope that rides on the rifle from the afternoon sit into the night has to work in daylight and in the dark. The PARD Night Stalker 4K eX 70mm pairs a 3840 × 2160 sensor rated to 0.001 lux with a round 2560 × 2560 OLED display, in a scope that focuses from the side like a day scope and runs for up to 8 hours on two batteries. Its 70 mm lens gives 5.5x, and digital zoom takes it to 22x.
Key Features
- 4K sensor, 60 Hz in color. A 3840 × 2160 CMOS sensor with 2.9 μm pixels works down to 0.001 lux and refreshes at 60 Hz in color and 30 Hz in black and white, processed by the PARD VLEA image engine.
- 5.5x to 22x on a round OLED. The 70 mm lens shows a 5.8° × 4.4° field, and 4x digital zoom takes it to 22x. The round 2560 × 2560 OLED sits behind 60 mm of eye relief; focus runs from 10 m to infinity and the diopter from -5 to +5. The Night Stalker 5K eX moves to a 4096 × 3024 sensor and adds a rangefinder in the lens and a detachable 850 nm illuminator.
- Day-scope controls. Side focus, flat knurled knobs and grooved buttons work with gloves on and in the dark, and the magnetic lens cap opens silently.
- Reticles and image modes. Six reticle styles in red, white, yellow or green; color, black and white, yellow and green image modes; picture-in-picture; and a ballistic calculator.
- Two batteries. A built-in 21700 and a removable 18650 run it for up to 8 hours, with external power over USB-C.
- Record the shot. Recoil-activated, auto and loop recording, with sound and time stamps, save photos at 2448 × 1836 and video at 1280 × 1280 to a microSD card of up to 128 GB. Wi-Fi connects to the PardVision2 app, the HDMI output carries video and sound, and a gyroscope is built in. Exposure compensation evens out a scene that is too bright or too dark.
- Built for recoil and weather. An aluminum alloy housing sealed to IP67, rated to 6,000 J of recoil and -30 °C to +55 °C (-22 °F to +131 °F).
Ideal For
- Fox and coyote hunters who hunt by day and after dark with the same scope.
- Long sits, with two batteries rated for up to 8 hours.
- Hunters building a setup in steps, adding the IL1 rangefinder and illuminator when they need them.
Accessories & Compatibility
- IL1 rangefinder and illuminator, sold separately. This version (NS4E-70) has no rangefinder or illuminator. The PARD IL1 module, made for the Night Stalker eX only, mounts on the scope and adds a 1,000 m laser rangefinder and a 5 W infrared illuminator (850 or 940 nm) with three brightness levels, rated to 350 m.
