The QD-B50 combines 654-yard night vision and a 1,100-yard laser rangefinder in a single binocular, eliminating the need to carry separate devices into the field. Built on Luna's Quantum Digital platform, it pairs a 0.0015-lux CMOS sensor with dual 1024x768 AMOLED eyepieces and electronic image stabilization—delivering ranged, stabilized, two-eyed observation from broad daylight through total darkness.
An automatic internal filter handles the transition between daylight color enhancement and IR mode, and the 1-watt 850nm illuminator (Class-3R) pushes usable imagery to the sensor's full 654-yard detection range. When you spot a target, one button press returns distance to the meter out to 1,000 meters. When you need a record, the built-in recorder captures QHD video and 16.1-megapixel stills with audio.
Key Features
- 1,100-Yard Laser Rangefinder — Integrated Class-3R LRF returns distance out to 1,000 meters, removing the need for a separate rangefinder
- 654-Yard Night Range — A 1-watt IR illuminator (850nm, Class-3R) reaches deeper into total darkness than 750mW units, giving you confident target ID at serious distance
- Quantum Digital Sensor (0.0015 lux) — 30% more sensitive than the G3 generation, with a proprietary Ultra Night Vision mode that pulls usable detail without IR active
- Electronic Image Stabilization — EIS at 6x optical magnification smooths handheld viewing and eliminates the shaky video that plagues unstabilized digital units
- Automatic Day/Night Filter — An internal color-enhancing filter switches automatically between daylight and IR modes—no manual cap removal, no missed moments
- 6–36x Digital Magnification — Fast f/1.0, all-glass, multicoated 50mm objectives maximize light gathering while 6x digital zoom extends your reach to 36x
- Six Color Modes — Daytime Color, Nighttime Color, Black & White, NV Green Phosphor, NV White Phosphor, and Amber
- Dual 1024x768 AMOLED Displays — Independent eyepiece displays with deep blacks and wide viewing angles, ruggedized for cold-weather operation
- QHD Recording with Audio — Capture 1440p video at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps with built-in microphone; 16.1MP stills for evidence-grade documentation
- Wi-Fi Streaming & HDMI Output — Stream live to your phone via the IRAPP companion app (iOS/Android) or connect to a monitor via micro-HDMI for team observation
