Explore Scientific Sidara Pro 80 — 80mm Refractor Telescope with GoTo Mount

Manual telescope mounts demand a skill set that many beginners never develop: star-hopping, understanding celestial coordinates, and manually tracking objects as the Earth rotates. The Explore Scientific Sidara Pro 80 removes that barrier with an 80mm refractor on a fully automated GoTo mount that locates and tracks celestial objects for you, letting you spend your time observing rather than searching.

The 80mm doublet refractor at f/11.3 is purpose-built for high-contrast planetary and lunar work. The long focal ratio minimizes chromatic aberration, producing clean, sharp views of Jupiter’s cloud bands, Saturn’s ring structure, and fine lunar detail. A 2-inch focuser accepts both standard 1.25" and wider 2" eyepieces for future upgrades.

The Sidara Pro GoTo mount is the standout feature. Select a target from the SkyAssist app or hand controller, and the mount slews to it automatically, then tracks it as the sky moves.
