2-inch Barrel

This collection covers 2-inch barrel eyepieces and 2-inch filters, the format built for wide true fields at low power. The larger barrel allows a larger field stop than the standard 1.25-inch fitting, so long focal length eyepieces deliver sweeping views of star fields and deep-sky targets.

Every item here is from Explore Scientific: eyepieces from 5.5mm to 40mm with apparent fields from 52 to 120 degrees, plus 2-inch nebula and variable polarizing filters. Confirm your telescope has a 2-inch focuser or adapter, since the barrel will not fit a 1.25-inch fitting.
