The PARD Pantera eX 640 pairs a 640 × 512 sensor rated at ≤14 mK with a round 2560 × 2560 OLED display and a 1,000 m laser rangefinder built into the objective lens, on a scope that focuses from the side like a day scope and runs on two batteries: a built-in 21700 and a removable 18650, rated together for up to 8 hours. Its 50 mm lens gives 3.7x, and PARD rates detection at 2,600 m.
Key Features
- 640 × 512 at ≤14 mK. An uncooled vanadium oxide (VOx) detector with 327,680 pixels at a 12 μm pitch and a 50 Hz frame rate, processed by the PARD IREA engine, which corrects distortion and raises contrast to bring out detail.
- 3.7x on a 2560 × 2560 round display. The 50 mm lens shows a 7° × 7° view, about 12.3 m across at 100 m. The 3.7x base magnification is optical; the 2x, 4x, 6x and 8x digital zoom steps enlarge the pixels at the center of the image, which makes the subject look bigger without adding detail. Eye relief is 60 mm and the diopter runs from -5 to +3.
- Rangefinder in the lens. The laser rangefinder sits inside the objective and measures to 1,000 m.
- Side focus and a magnetic lens cap. A side focus knob adjusts the image with little movement, as on a day scope, and the enlarged buttons and magnetic lens cap work with gloves on.
- Two batteries. A built-in 21700 and a removable 18650 give up to 8 hours between charges, with external power over USB-C.
- Reticles and display modes. Six reticle styles in four colors, six image modes (WT-HOT, BK-HOT, H-LIGHT, RD-HOT, IN-HOT and SKY), three scene modes, picture-in-picture and hot track.
- Record the shot. Recoil-activated recording with a microphone saves to a microSD card of up to 128 GB. Wi-Fi connects to the PardVision2 app, there is an HDMI output, and a gyroscope and an electronic compass are built in.
- Built for recoil and weather. An aluminum alloy housing sealed to IP67, rated to 6,000 J of recoil and -30 °C to +55 °C (-22 °F to +131 °F). It weighs 1,087 g with its batteries and comes with two 30 mm mount rings.
Ideal For

- Long sits, with two batteries rated for up to 8 hours.
- Shooters used to day scopes, with side focus and standard 30 mm rings.
