PARD Merlin 50mm Digital Night Vision Binocular

After dark at a campsite, a noise at the edge of the trees is easier to settle when you can see what made it. The PARD Merlin is a digital night vision binocular with a 1920 × 1080 sensor rated to 0.0001 lux and a built-in 850 nm infrared illuminator that reaches 350 m, and in daylight it shows the scene in color.

Key Features

• 1920 × 1080 sensor to 0.0001 lux. A CMOS sensor with 2.9 μm pixels, refreshing at 60 Hz in color and 30 Hz in black and white.
• 4.6x to 9.2x. The 50 mm lens gives 4.6x, 2x digital zoom takes it to 9.2x, and a picture-in-picture inset reaches 18.4x. The field is 4.8° × 3.6°, focus runs from 3 m to infinity and the diopter from -5 to +3.
• 350 m of infrared. A 5 W VCSEL illuminator at 850 nm with three brightness levels lights the scene for the sensor.
• Record and share. Photos and video save to a microSD card of up to 128 GB, with auto recording, loop recording, time stamps and sound, and exposure compensation for bright or dark scenes. Wi-Fi connects to the PardVision2 app.
• Built for the field. Sealed to IP67, with one 21700 lithium-ion battery that PARD rates for up to 6 hours, external power over USB-C, and an aluminum alloy and composite housing. It weighs 441.6 g without the battery.
