The Kite Optics B6 2-12x50 is a versatile all-around hunting scope that pairs a wide 2–12x zoom range with a large 50mm objective — delivering the brightness and magnification to cover everything from close-range stalking at 2x to confident shot placement at 300+ yards at 12x. The classic 4Ai illuminated reticle and capped turrets make this a traditional European hunting scope refined for serious fieldwork.
Key Features
- 2–12x magnification with 6x zoom ratio — The same versatile zoom range as the B6 LR, covering close-range woodland encounters at 2x through to positive identification and precise shot placement at distance. The wide 59.4 ft field of view at 100 yards on 2x gives ample room for tracking moving game.
- 50mm objective with 88% light transmission — The large objective gathers significantly more light than 42mm scopes, delivering a bright, high-contrast image at higher magnifications and extending usable shooting time into dawn and dusk. MHR Advance coatings maximize light throughput across all surfaces.
- 4Ai illuminated reticle (SFP) — The refined German No. 4 pattern with thick outer posts tapering to a clean center area and a floating illuminated red dot. Five brightness levels plus a daylight boost setting provide precise aiming from dawn to dusk.
- Capped turrets with 0.25 MOA clicks — Protected turrets maintain your zero through the roughest field handling. Remove the caps for precise 1/4 MOA adjustments during zeroing, then cap them for confident hunting. 100 MOA total adjustment range on both axes.
- 95mm eye relief — Generous clearance for safe, comfortable shooting with magnum calibers and quick target acquisition from any shooting position.
- 612g and 342mm (13.5") overall length — A balanced weight that's light enough for mountain hunts but substantial enough to handle heavy recoil. The 50mm objective adds brightness without excessive bulk.
- Permaresist exterior lens coating — Scratch-resistant and hydrophobic coating protects external lens surfaces against rain, dust, and the inevitable knocks of field use.
- One-piece 30mm aluminum tube, IPX7 waterproof — Machined from solid aluminum, nitrogen-purged, and submersible to 1 meter. Operating range from -20°C to +71°C.
Ideal For
All-around rifle hunters who want one scope that covers brushy whitetail stands, western meadows, and mountain ridgelines. The 2–12x range and 50mm objective handle every scenario from 50-yard treestand shots to 400-yard open-country work, and the bright image extends your effective shooting window into low light.
European stalking and high-seat hunters who value a clean sight picture and reliable capped turrets. The 4Ai reticle is the traditional European hunter's choice — fast to acquire, precise with the illuminated dot, and never cluttered with unnecessary markings.
Low-light hunters who regularly shoot at dawn, dusk, or in deep timber. The 50mm objective and 88% light transmission deliver meaningful brightness advantage when the light drops — without the weight and complexity of a long-range tactical scope.
