The Guide TU650L 3.0 is the long-range model of Guide's TU LRF 3.0 series: the only one with a 50mm F1.0 lens, paired with a 1,500 m laser rangefinder and on-screen ballistic holdover. It uses the same 640 × 512 sensor and carries the same 2,600 m detection rating as the TU650P and TU650M, with a 0.49-inch 1080p AMOLED in place of their 1.03-inch 2560 × 2560 display, and it weighs 815 g.

TU650L or TU635L: Reach Against Field of View
The TU635L shares the TU650L's sensor, rangefinder, display and controls. The lens is the difference, and it decides where each scope belongs.
- Reach. The 50mm lens starts at 3.9x and carries a 2,600 m detection rating, against 1,800 m for the 35mm TU635L. Past 300 m, the longer focal length puts more of the sensor's pixels on the animal, which is what lets you sort a coyote from a fox, or a boar from a sow, before you range it.
- Field of view. The cost is a narrower view: 8.2° × 5.0° (about 14 × 9 m at 100 m) on the TU650L, against 11.8° × 7.1° on the TU635L. Scanning a wide field takes longer, and close, fast shots in cover come easier with the 35mm.
Choose the TU650L for pasture, ag fields, cutovers and shots across draws. Choose the TU635L if most of your shots fall inside 200 m, or you hunt timber where a wide view matters more than reach.
Key Features
- Hyper-Light image processing. Guide's current processing for the 640 × 512, 12 µm sensor is aimed at lower noise and finer detail, and the 18 mK sensitivity helps in low-contrast conditions such as humid nights and rain.
- Shutterless 3.0. Calibration runs without the audible shutter click or the image freeze of shuttered scopes, so the view stays live while you track an animal.
- Rangefinder with on-screen holdover. Range a target out to 1,500 m and the ballistic calculator shows the corrected holdover. Your load data (bullet, distance, temperature and wind) is set up in the TargetIR Ballistics app and sent to the scope over Wi-Fi.
- Ten saved setups. Configurations A to J each store a reticle, a ballistic profile and zeros at up to five distances (100 and 200 by default, plus three custom), so one scope can move between rifles or loads.
- Automatic shot recording. With intelligent recording on, each shot saves a clip running from 5 seconds before the recoil to 10 seconds after, plus 5 photos. A 1-to-5 sensitivity setting decides how hard a jolt it takes, and everything records with audio to 128 GB of internal storage.
- Two batteries and smart sleep. A built-in 18500 works alongside an external 18650, and Guide's manual gives a working time of more than 6 hours at 25 °C (77 °F). With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off, smart sleep puts the scope on standby when it is tilted 50° or more, as when the rifle is slung, and wakes it when you level it.
- Built for recoil and weather. Rated for .300 Win Mag recoil and 6,000 J shock, sealed to IP68, and specified for -4°F to 122°F.
- Phone app and remote. Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz) links to the TargetIR app for live view and firmware updates, and Bluetooth pairs Guide's optional remote control.
Ideal For
- Open-country predator hunters calling coyotes across pasture and cut fields, where the 50mm lens identifies and ranges at distances where a 35mm scope shows far less detail.
- Hog hunters on large ag ground who need to sort a sounder at distance and range the shot before the group moves.
- Hunters moving up from a 384 or 400 sensor who want 640 × 512 detail with the rangefinder and ballistics built in, without paying for the larger display of the TU650P or TU650M.
Accessories & Compatibility
The TU650L has a standard 30mm tube and ships with a quick-release mount. Guide's Bluetooth remote and spare 18650 batteries are sold separately. To compare it with the rest of the line, see the Guide Sensmart thermal range or browse all thermal riflescopes.
