A 5 lb (2.25 kg) counterweight for EXOS-2 mounts with a 21mm bore and locking thumb screw — the right size for balancing mid-weight telescope and imaging setups without overloading the counterweight bar.

Proper counterweight balance is critical for accurate tracking. An unbalanced mount forces the drive motors to work against gravity, introducing periodic error and wearing gears faster. This 5 lb weight fills the gap between the standard counterweights that ship with EXOS-2 kits, giving you finer control over your balance point — especially useful when swapping between visual and imaging configurations that change the equipment weight on the dovetail side.

The 21mm bore slides over the standard EXOS-2 counterweight shaft. A locking thumb screw secures the weight at any position along the bar.
