The Alpen Argus LT 1x26 is an open-emitter red dot with a generous 26 × 23 mm viewing window — a wider glass than typical compact sights, which makes target acquisition faster when the shooter isn't perfectly indexed. The sight ships with both a low mount (standard RMR footprint) and a higher co-witness mount, so it adapts from handgun to flat-top rifle without buying a separate base.

Key Features
  • Three switchable reticles — red dot, circle, or circle-with-dot, cycled by holding the + button
  • Large 26 × 23 mm viewing window for faster target pickup than typical compact reflexes
  • RMR footprint — direct pistol mount; low and high mounts both included
  • 10 brightness levels including 2 night-vision compatible settings
  • DynamicDot motion wake for standby-to-ready in milliseconds
  • CR1632 battery with up to 50,000 hours of runtime
  • Waterproof to 1 m / 30 min, rated from −30 °C to 50 °C
  • 70 g, 49 × 34 × 42 mm aluminum housing

Ideal For
  • AR-platform builds where a co-witness height mount is standard
  • Dual-use shooters who swap the sight between a pistol and a carbine using the included low/high mounts
  • Home-defense and range use needing a wide sight window for rapid acquisition without sacrificing battery life
