A 280mm die-cast aluminum Vixen-style dovetail plate built specifically for mounting cameras on astronomical tracking mounts — with laser-etched scale markings, dual thread adapters, and a spring-loaded safety pin for secure positioning.
The plate accepts any camera with a standard tripod mount. A ¼-20 bolt with swivel handle provides quick attachment, and a 3/8-16 adapter covers European camera standards. Three strategically placed slots let you slide the camera along the plate to balance your setup, while laser-etched 2mm increment markings on one side make repositioning repeatable. A spring-loaded pin locks into cameras or footplates that have a secondary mounting hole, preventing rotation during tracking. A stainless steel strip on the underside protects the dovetail from clamping wear.
Slides into any Vixen-style saddle — including the iEXOS-100, EXOS-2, and Twilight I mounts.
