Maksutov Cassegrains

Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes, sometimes referred to as a Mak-Cass or simply Mak, are a type of catadioptric telescopes that use both spherical mirrors and a negative meniscus lens to gather and focus light.

Its unique design corrects for off-axis and chromatic aberrations. Maksutov-Cassegrains are portable, produce high-contrast views, and are great for deep sky and planetary observations.
