Open-emitter red dots are fast, but they're exposed — rain, dust, snow, and debris can obstruct the emitter window when conditions get rough. The Athlon Midas Strobe TSR3 is a fully enclosed tube-style red dot with a 25mm objective that protects the emitter behind a sealed, nitrogen-purged housing while delivering a crisp 2 MOA dot through advanced fully multi-coated optics. The tube design also eliminates the front-lens tinting that open-emitter dots introduce.

The Strobe shares the same core technology as Athlon's Midas pistol dots — 50,000 hours of battery life and motion-sensor activation that sleeps after 5 minutes and wakes on movement — but packages it in a platform built for rifles, shotguns, and PCCs. At 6.8 oz and 2.8 inches, it sits comfortably on a picatinny rail without adding excessive weight. Two mount heights are included: a standard 1.57" mount for absolute co-witness and a 1.0" low mount for lower-third setups.

The 0.5 MOA click adjustments provide twice the precision of the 1 MOA clicks on Athlon's pistol dots, making it easier to dial in an exact zero. Ten brightness settings cover the full range from dim indoor ranges to bright outdoor conditions, and the aircraft-grade aluminum chassis is waterproof, fog-proof, and shockproof.
