Athlon Optics Argos BTR GEN3 6-24×50 APLR11 FFP IR MOA

An FFP MOA scope with illumination, zero stop, and 24× magnification under $450 puts serious long-range capability within reach. The Athlon Argos BTR GEN3 6-24×50 delivers that with the APLR11 FFP illuminated MOA reticle, 0.25 MOA clicks, and 60 MOA of elevation travel in a proven 30mm platform.

The APLR11 is a first focal plane reticle with the entire reticle illuminated: a 0.2 MOA floating center dot, 1 MOA hash marks in each direction, and numbered drop lines every 5 MOA down to 50 MOA below center. FFP ensures subtensions stay accurate across the full 6-24× range — no need to dial to a specific power for holdovers to work. The 0.25 MOA clicks and 25 MOA per revolution provide fast, intuitive dialing for shooters who think in MOA.

Key Features

• 30mm one-piece tube with precision zero stop — the zero stop provides a hard return to your confirmed zero, with 60 MOA of total elevation and windage travel and 25 MOA per revolution
• 6-24× magnification with 50mm objective — versatile range from mid-range hunting to long-range target work, with enough light-gathering for dawn and dusk shooting
• 0.25 MOA clicks — precise adjustments with exposed turrets designed for dialing
• Advanced fully multi-coated optics with XPL coating — AFMC lenses deliver high light transmission across the spectrum, while the XPL protective layer guards against abrasion
• Argon purged — inert gas purging provides superior fog-proofing and internal moisture resistance
• Side focus parallax adjustment — adjustable from 10 yards to infinity for parallax-free shooting at any distance

Ideal For

Budget-conscious long-range shooters entering the sport who prefer MOA adjustments and need a capable FFP scope without breaking the bank — the APLR11 reticle and zero stop provide the fundamentals needed for precision shooting.

Long-range hunters who want FFP MOA holdovers that stay accurate regardless of magnification — the 6× low end is practical for closer shots in timber, while 24× provides the precision needed for cross-canyon opportunities.

Rimfire and air rifle competitors looking for a quality FFP scope with 10-yard minimum parallax — the side focus adjustment and illuminated reticle handle close-range benchrest disciplines while the magnification range covers field courses.
