The Guide TU435LS brings Guide's ApexVision S1 platform to a 400 × 300 sensor: 12 µm pixels rated at 15 mK behind a 35 mm F0.9 lens, with the laser rangefinder inside the objective and the same 1.03-inch 2560 × 2560 AMOLED and 60 mm eye relief as the 640-class TU Pro 3.0 models. Against the TU435L at the same resolution, it moves to 15 mK from 20 mK, F0.9 from F1.0, the 2560 × 2560 display from 1920 × 1080, and a 14-hour battery rating from more than 7 hours, with a taller 7.9° × 5.9° field against 7.4° × 4.4°. The TU435L ranges farther (1,500 m against 1,200 m) and weighs 780 g against 875 g.
Key Features
- ApexVision S1 imaging. Guide pairs its ApexCore S1 detector with the Nexus 1.0 platform and the Hyper-Light 2.0 algorithm, which Guide says improves clarity, reduces noise, optimizes contrast and resolves finer detail. The sensor runs at 50 Hz with a 15 mK rating.
- Rangefinder inside the objective. The laser rangefinder sits on the lens axis instead of in a separate window. Guide says this reduces parallax error in ranging and keeps the scope compact. It ranges to 1,200 m (1,300 yd).
- Large square display. The 1.03-inch 2560 × 2560 AMOLED has 60 mm of eye relief and a -5 to +5 diopter. Magnification starts at 4.2x and reaches 16.8x with 4x digital zoom, across a 7.9° × 5.9° field.
- Shutterless 3.0. Calibration runs without the shutter click or the image freeze, so the view stays live while you follow an animal. Guide keeps a shutter module for image quality at startup and through large temperature changes.
- Three batteries, 14 hours. Two built-in 18650 cells work with a third, replaceable 18650 for a rated 14 hours, and Guide says the replaceable cell supports hot swapping. USB-C supplies external power and charging.
- Recoil-activated recording. Each shot saves a 15-second clip and 5 photos for instant playback. Photos and video record with audio to 128 GB of internal storage.
- Built for recoil and weather. Rated for 6,000 J shock, sealed to IP68 and specified for -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C).
- Central focus and zoom. A centrally placed focus wheel and zoom lever handle focus and magnification.
- App and remote. Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz) links the TargetIR app for live view, photos, video, settings and firmware updates. Bluetooth pairs Guide's optional remote control.
- Reticles, zeros and ballistics. Guide's TU 3.0 series manual describes ten saved configurations (A to J) with zeros at up to five distances, and a ballistic calculator that uses each range reading and the measured angle to give a correction in MOA or MIL. Seven thermal palettes are included.
Ideal For
- Hunters who want the TU Pro 3.0 display, rangefinder and battery system with a 400 × 300 sensor.
- Hog and predator hunters at moderate range, where the 4.2x starting magnification shows a distant animal larger than the 640-class 35 mm model's 2.6x does.
- Hunters coming from the TU435L or another 0.49-inch 1080p scope who want the larger 2560 × 2560 display and 60 mm of eye relief.
TU435LS or TU635LS. The TU635LS shares this scope's 35 mm F0.9 lens, display, rangefinder, battery system and 875 g weight, with a 640 × 512 sensor. Behind the same lens, its larger sensor covers a wider 12.5° × 10.0° field from a 2.6x start, while the TU435LS's 400 × 300 sensor starts at 4.2x across 7.9° × 5.9°. Guide rates both to 1,800 m detection.
Accessories & Compatibility
The TU435LS has a standard 30 mm tube and comes with Guide's quick-release scope mount. Guide offers a Bluetooth remote control and spare 18650 batteries as optional accessories.
